How would they forget it? How would they not know?
They must have been listening to my crying and woe...

Long time no see, friends!
I've got myself a brand new job that has kept me away from art and... well just about everything actually. ^^
But I'm getting better and better at managing my time now. So more art to come! Weeh!
He has some anatomy problems with his arm... But I just can't seem to fix it. So, I'll leave it for now, and if I become a better painter, I might go back to correct it. (And those of you who have stayed around for a while know that is about as likely as mosquitoes inventing cold fusion...)
Original idea for this is a sexed up celtic inspired Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, actually. ^^ Hence the red lips and animal-like facial features.
Oh! And have I mentioned I like hipbones??
Missed being around, and I hope you are all doing well!
Edit: Oh! And a heartfelt "thank you" to my friend ~Tobbo who dared take off his shirt to supply me with refs for the arm!
I love it! It's so epic! The antlers are a nice touch. They don't look like they'd stay on, but WOWSA! Those candles sure add the perfect "flare" to the picture! As always, a lovely muted background, and beautiful attention to detail. Lovely work yet again!
It doesn't matter to me that the arm is a bit off, I still like the picture. The antlers look magnificent, and with the candles on then it's just wow! The dancing figures in the background gives the picture a mystical feeling, and the babyfaces on the trees are just... creepy. Talk about the forrest beeing alive! Theres something about his face that I can't get off my mind. He looks so stern and almost angry, so the outreached hand becomes more demanding than inviting. I'm just reacting to this, because reindeers tend to look very mild. But hey, Rudolph has never looked better, IMO!

"Nice is different than good..." - Red Riding Hood, Into The Woods
Yes, hit face is intentionally painted with an aggressive expression. It's to show the complexity of a wild beast: beautiful, strong, raw and mystical. Plus, I simply love to add a twist of the dark side in my paintings. To turn the bad and twisted into something pretty is sometimes harder than it looks.
Don't think this is just another news article with the usual love deviations that have already hundreds of favorites! All of these deviations don't have even 100 favorites & they're the best!
Please watch them closely and show your appreciation! @
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More

And If you don't mind, could you tell me why the antlers don't look like they'd stay on?
And thanks for sticking around! ^^

However, the more I look at it, the more I'm starting to like it... I wouldn't touch it.
